Why I Designed My Birth Flower Rings | My Inspiration

I’ve always loved flowers and plants.

When we lived in Kansas, I had a garden at home where I grew vegetables and flowers. I loved watching everything grow and change through the seasons, and I think that love for flowers naturally found its way into my jewelry.
That’s how my Birth Flower Rings started.

I wanted to create something more personal than a ring with just one flower.

I wanted each ring to be able to tell a little story — your birth flower, your children’s flowers, your partner’s, or the flowers of the people you love.
So I designed my rings to hold several birth flowers together.
But I also didn’t want every ring to look exactly the same.
I still make them the traditional way, using individual metal stamps and stamping each flower by hand. I don’t follow one exact pattern. I usually start with your flowers and then let the design come together as I’m making it.
Some flowers overlap.
Some sit a little higher or lower.
Sometimes I add tiny leaves or details wherever they feel right.
That’s actually my favorite part.

I love the slightly imperfect, rustic look of traditional hand-stamped jewelry. Every little impression is made by hand, so no two rings will ever have exactly the same flower pattern.
And I think that’s what makes them special.
Your ring isn’t coming from a mold or a machine that makes thousands of identical pieces.
It’s made one at a time, just for you.
Maybe that’s because I’ve always loved things that are a little different. Things that feel personal and don’t look exactly like everyone else’s.

If you’re the same way, I think you’ll understand why I love making these rings so much.
A little garden you can carry with you every day.
